Professional Service Breakdown

  1. Discovery, UI/UX Design & Wireframing (15%–20%) — mobile-first user flows, UI assets, up to 2 design revision rounds before coding.
  2. Frontend & Backend Development (50%–60%) — responsive layouts, cloud databases (Supabase, MongoDB, or Vercel Postgres), JWT/NextAuth security.
  3. Integrations & Localizations (add-on) — M-Pesa Daraja/Pesapal, SMS via Africa's Talking, and other local tools.
  4. Deployment, QA & Launch (10%–15%) — Vercel production, custom domains, SEO and performance for Kenyan mobile networks.

Local pricing notes

  • Domain and hosting billed separately (.co.ke roughly KES 1,000–3,000/year; premium Vercel/DB if needed).
  • Milestone payments: 40% deposit · 40% on core working app · 20% before custom-domain launch.
  • Post-warranty updates via retainer, typically KES 10,000–30,000 / month.
